Forming in 2003 after Chisato, formerly of the all-female punk band THUG MURDER (TKO Records), and Kenta666, from the hardcore band REAL SHIT, started collaborating, the VICKERS quickly carved a name for themselves as one of Japan's fiercest rock n' roll acts. They released their first mini-album Stab Your Back, now out-of-print, which was quickly followed up with three brutal albums. The band caused a stir in Taiwan when they played the island's Formoz Festival, and later when they returned for the Anti-pop series. Recently, tiny terror Annie joined taking on bass duties and THE VICKERS sound louder and more striking than ever!

TRACK LIST:
PACIFICTION REVIEW:The first full length by Japan's lightning-fast, monster rock n' roll band promises "Action!" from the get go! The metal-tinged "Rockin' on the Shadow" will get you slam dancing. Next up is "I Remember you," a hard rock ode to love and confusion. Indignant punk rock tunes "Restless & Wild," and "My Generation" scream of being in opposition to the norms of society. Surprisingly melodic, but in no way wimpy, "Feed Back Meet" has a 70's rock sound. Chisato grabs the mic for "Stinky World" and sings in her bright way about things you can't change. For a balls-out finale, "Beat'em Up" leaves you ripped up and KO'd. Speedy rock n' roll, metal licks and punk attitude: the VICKERS guarantee "You're Gonna Be Action!!!" |
