PACIFICTION REVIEW:

This long awaited three song mini-album contains some of the best melodic punk, Taiwan hardcore and most innovative work on the island to date. Opening with distorted power chords, "60~70" breaks down its driving verses to a melodic, riff laden chorus. "Taiwan Theory" starts off with a beach rock sound and ska beat that is sporadically interrupted by waves of distortion and melodic hooks. Brimming with taike sound, Taiwan's distinct rock style, "Unwilling" lays down a punk heaviness over an oldies tune. This CD is a great find for people interested island culture punk that takes influence from styles such as Jamaican ska, folk, surf rock and pop punk.
