PACIFICTION REVIEW:The Japanese intro to this rock vulgarity invokes their namesake, Takashi Miike's Visitor Q alternately named Love Cinema Vol. 6. If you can imagine such an incredibly bizarre, perverse yet provocative film could have a punk soundtrack, this would be it. Quirky trash punk, Bondage anthems, a keen version of Blondie's "Sunday Girl," as well as a G.G. Allin cover; all demons expelled by a lead singer that likes to dress in shimmy shimmy skirts make this album punk's answer to cock rock. Only something this wrong could have risen out of some bored dudes immersing themselves in Japanese shock cinema in an attempt to avoid the quagmire that is the north Jersey social scene. |
