PACIFICTION REVIEW:These delightful compositions by Taipei's up-and-coming indie pop group show off some lively developments happening in Taiwan's indie scene. Opening the single with some circus-esque music is "甜香煙" which then descends into an apprehensive, introspective vocal session colored with light piano and guitar sounds. "Life" is jumpy piano pop tune about family, growing up and being loved with lots of cute little noises and surprises. The final song is a diverse composition starting slowly with soft vocals and piano which is then picked up with acoustic guitars and ends in hypnotic arpeggios. Fans of Taiwan's indie pop veterans TIZZY BAC will be interested to hear the new sounds of RADIOBEAR. |
