In the aftermath of the hi-octane Tokyo instro garage band MAD3, guitarist EDDIE LEGEND joins CHIYO-X in songwriting and performing as a stylized 50's UK biker gang punk group, yet doing a mix of 70's punk, fuzzed-out rockabilly and sticking to their roots with surfy garage. A splattering of live shows, some off-hand video appearances and a couple of mini-albums are all that's left in the wake.

PACIFICTION REVIEW:On the first HELL-RACER release, Tokyo garage icon EDDIE LEGEND lets some rip-roaring garage punk tunes fly, crash and burn in a horror punk spectacle! "Duck Pond" is a cover of UK instro-mental legends THE COUGARS which EDDIE adds his frantic surf guitar touch as if winding and swerving on your '61 Triumph... which crashes into the original "Jet Black Mobile!" ...which was on it's way to "Monster Beach" for some surf punk-a-billy party with The Munsters! "Motor Vampire" resurrects you to ride another day and finally confront "La Demonio!" Imagine a Japanese biker gang, head-to-toe in black leather, on Nortons and Triumphs on their way to a DAMNED concert with the ghost of Nervous Norvus haunting their engines! |
