PACIFICTION REVIEW:

CLIONE-INDEX are a usual guitar, bass and drums rock band that make fantastic ambient sounds. The intro to "Dove Eyes" is a flurry of experimental sound that eventually emerges as crashing waves of guitar and drums by the end of the track. "Under the Moonlight" presents something a little more mysterious that follows certain paths through a landscape of light and shadow. If the previous track took us through night, the slow crescendoing "Time Goes By" comes on like dawn. Then, "Beginning of a Nine Stories" prepares us for a new day and all it's adventures. As with most experimental instrumental bands, the music is open to interpretation, but if you like ambient guitar with a touch of shoegazer, then you will enjoy CLIONE-INDEX.
